Lovely lo-fi shoegaze/industrial/postrock/new wave. The double disc set is conceptualized around the story of a obscure medieval heresy and its attendant millenarian cult (the interesting history of which is told in a-75 page!-booklet which accompanied my $10 purchase). The music is layered, mournful, and catchy, if perhaps maudlin at times: one of my favorite releases of the year so far.
