Dissipated Israeli lo-fi garage/punk/rock from the same label as the somewhat similarly raw and echoey Los Kikes. Completely over the top punk/hc/metal/industrial from Japan, this band is the precursor of, and very similar in sound to QP-Crazy. Vein (hardcore) is Boris's take on the fuzzy, distorted extremes of Japanese hardcore. Minute long blasts of furious riffs & screams smothered in a lovely thick blanket of static and buzz. I quite enjoyed this release. The Drone version does less for me (it just sort of goes and goes and goes...wait, you mean that's the point of drone? Zambia, 1975, a bunch of stoned as fuck fellows weaned on pirate radio record an album of late 60s style psyche. The results are unsurprisingly (surprisingly?)　great. Very chilled out music, with lovely rhythmic and regional touches that set it off from most psych stuff.
